Our trucker hats are One Size Fits Most with adjustable snapback closures. They typically fit head sizes ranging from 56–62 cm and feature a medium crown. Please measure your head before purchasing for the best fit. We include a FREE extender in each order to ensure your hat fits comfortably.

Yes! Our trucker hats are designed to be worn by anyone regardless of gender.

Our trucker hats feature a foam front panel, a mesh back for ventilation, and a plastic snapback closure. Each product page lists specific material details.

🎨 4. Do you offer custom or personalized hats?

We do not offer custom or personalized hats at this time.

🧼 5. How do I clean or care for my trucker hat?

We recommend spot-cleaning with mild soap and cold water. Avoid machine washing, drying, or using bleach as it may damage the shape and print.

🚚 6. How long does shipping take?

DOMESTIC SHIPPING & PROCESSING (USA)
Because each hat is proudly made to order right here in New Jersey, our fulfillment process is broken into two steps:
- Processing Time: 2 to 5 business days to custom craft your hat.
- Shipping Time: 2 to 5 business days in transit once handed to the carrier.
Total Turnaround: Most domestic orders arrive within 4 to 10 business days from the moment you purchase — but there is a good chance it will arrive sooner than anticipated. You will receive a tracking number the exact day your
hat ships out!

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & PROCESSING
We proudly ship our custom hats worldwide! International timelines are split between crafting time and overseas shipping transit:
- Processing Time: 2 to 5 business days to custom craft your hat.
- Shipping Time: 7 to 21 business days in
transit, depending on your global location and local customs clearance speeds. Estimated Total Turnaround by Region:
- Canada: 9 to 17 business days total.
- UK & Europe: 12 to 21 business days total.
- Australia & New Zealand: 14 to 26 business days.
- Rest of the World: 16 to 33 business days total.
Tracking updates may slow down once the package leaves the United States and enters your country's
local postal network. To protect the shape and crown of your hat, all international items are
securely shipped in sturdy, lightweight
cardboard boxes.

🔄 8. Can I return or exchange a hat?

At Retro Roots Headwear, every hat is packed with care and a little bit of nostalgia — because I'm a one-woman shop, I handle every order personally.

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for both defective and non-defective items in new, unworn condition with the original tag attached. Once your return is received and approved, refunds are processed within 5 business days.

Exchanges are also accepted within 7 days of delivery for items in new, unworn condition with the original tag attached.

We cover return shipping only when we've made a mistake or your hat arrives damaged. If this happens, we'll email you a prepaid return shipping label so you can send the item back free of charge.

Items not eligible for return or exchange include:

  • Worn, used, or altered items
  • Items without the original tag attached
  • Sale or clearance items

⚠️ 9. What if my hat arrives damaged or the wrong item is sent?

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at info@retrorootsheadwear.com within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the item
  • Your email address used at checkout

We'll follow up within 1 business day with next steps — whether that means sending a replacement or issuing a refund.
