Refund and Returns Policy
Because Retro Roots Headwear is a small shop (just me!) and each hat is customized specifically for the customer, I’m only able to accept returns in limited situations.
✅ Eligible for Return
Returns may be accepted for the following:
Defective or damaged items
Examples include stitching issues, misprints, broken snapback hardware, or other major flaws.Incorrect item received
If you receive the wrong hat or wrong color that’s on me and I’ll make it right.
❌ Not Eligible for Return
I am unable to accept returns or exchanges for:
Change-of-mind purchases or buyer’s remorse
Worn, used, or altered items
Items without the original tag attached
Incorrect size selection
Please measure carefully before ordering! (Size chart in FAQ’s)Sale or clearance items
Because each hat is custom-made to order, all sales are otherwise final.
⏳ Timeframe
Any claim for a defective, damaged, or incorrect item must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
📩 Return Shipping
For approved returns that are confirmed to be defective, damaged, or incorrect, you will not be responsible for return shipping costs.
For any other approved return situation, if applicable, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
📸 What You’ll Need
Please email me at info@retrorootsheadwear.com with:
- A clear photo of the issue
- Your order number
- Your email used at checkout
The hat must still have its original tag attached.
Once your claim is submitted, I’ll review it within 2–3 business days and follow up with one of the following, depending on the situation:
A replacement
Store credit
A refund, on a case-by-case basis for defective items only
